Our Story

Rooted in Christ. Built in obedience. Lived in community.

We’re a family from Bozeman, Montana, doing our best to follow Christ in the middle of real, everyday life.

Where It Began

R.I.C.H. Gospel Gear was born in a season of surrender.

After surgery, everything I believed defined me felt uncertain. My work, my direction, even my identity was shaken. In that quiet and uncomfortable space, God spoke clearly: your identity is not in what you do—it’s in Me.

We were scared. We were excited. And we were willing to trust God.

That willingness became the beginning of R.I.C.H.

Our Faith Journey

Our walk with Jesus hasn’t been clean or linear.

I spent my twenties and early thirties not walking with God—divorced, raising a child, and deeply unhappy. God drew me back not through a sermon, but through the example of a friend who quietly lived out his faith.

Kate’s journey carries its own chapters of loss, growth, and learning to trust God again after a previous marriage. Everything changed when we found a community of believers who didn’t just talk about Jesus but walked with Him daily.

Following Jesus for us means trusting Him instead of holding onto life with white knuckles.

Marriage & Family

Faith has taught us that we can’t build a healthy marriage on our own strength. God must be at the center for it to grow and thrive.

As parents, we pray daily that our son, Kade, sees a faith that’s lived—not just spoken. That he learns to trust God, hear His voice, and know that faith is something you carry into every part of life.

Why Apparel?

We chose apparel because that’s what God placed on our hearts.

We’ve seen how something as simple as what you wear can open doors—sparking encouragement, questions, and real conversations. We couldn’t find bold faith-based apparel that invited conversation, so God called us to create it.

This brand is not about clothing. It’s about connection.

Community Is the Mission

We aren’t building a customer base—we’re building a community.

A community of believers who want to grow deeper in their faith.
Who aren’t ashamed to proclaim the Gospel.
Who want their lives to reflect what they stand for.

R.I.C.H. stands for Rooted In Christ Himself, inspired by Colossians 2:6–7.

To be rooted in Christ is to grow deep enough to withstand the winds of the world—just like redwood trees whose roots intertwine beneath the surface to stand strong together.

This isn’t just apparel.
It’s a purposeful life.

Founder’s Note

We didn’t start R.I.C.H. because we had it all figured out.
We started it because God asked us to trust Him.

This brand represents our own walk—imperfect, growing, and fully dependent on Christ. Our prayer is that when you wear R.I.C.H., you’re reminded who you’re rooted in, and that others are encouraged by your boldness.

A Prayer for Our Community

Father God,

Thank You for every person reading this.
You know their story, their struggles, and their desire to grow closer to You.

We ask that You root each of us deeply in You, Christ—
not in comfort, not in culture, but in truth.

Give us boldness to live our faith openly,
humility to keep growing,
and community to stand strong together when the storms come.

May everything, we do point back to You.
May our lives reflect the Gospel.
And may we walk daily in obedience, trusting You completely.
